"Come As You Are" is a typography design piece that was created using the combination of base typefaces Pistilli and Edwarian Script. It was done using Adobe Illustrator. The phrase is a song title by Nirvana. I interpret this phrase as an invitation to be yourself, which would explain the festive appearance of my piece. "Come As You Are" is also a love song which is show through the thorn like flourishes and ornaments. My objective was to create a custom typeface using the combination of two existing fonts. I also wanted to convey the phrase through the typeface's appearance and style.
